So the Xbox can play audio cds and even rip them. I tried four different cds. Sometimes it didn't even recognize them, sometimes I just couldn't play them.
It plays games and dvds just fine.

Actually, I just got my hands on a friend's old PS3 -- the disc drive no longer works but everything else functions fine. Thoughts on what to do with it? If I can repair the drive I'd like to give it back to her so she doesn't have to spend money on a new PS3. Otherwise I'd love to turn it into something fun and usable instead of driving it out to the dump.
