What's your favorite Pokemon side game?
Ranger has the best art direction, Mystery Dungeon games are the most fun. Pokemon Rumble is the most entertaining with people to share it with.
Mystery Dungeon games. Can't beat a good ol' fashioned Dungeon Crawler. Hey You Pikachu had the most depressing ads, but that didn't stop me from buying it. I wonder if I still have the mic for that.
Stadium, but only the first one. I've suspected the AI in the sequel of cheating.
>>6762 I agree. Everything past Jasmine's gym was just ridiculous.
>>6764 I only really had trouble with the Elite Four, and only because I used entirely Rental Pokemon, in either Stadium game.
>>6788 Would be this if I was actually good at it. I don't remember beating any of the club leaders. Then again, I was ten. Also, that deaf dumb and blind kid sure plays a mean Pokémon Pinball.
>>6789 That game's version of the Elite Four aren't too shabby, either.
>>6789 Holy crap, this. I can't believe I forgot about it. It's one of the greatest games ever! >>6762 >>6764 The secret is that they choose their moves after you've chosen yours, letting them see what you're going to do and find an appropriate counter for it. This is on top of the fixed odds. LOL ISNT IT CHALLENGING?
You people have an odd way of spelling "Pokemon Snap"
Pokemon Snap, by far.
POKEMON TRADING CARD GAME NO FUCKING EXCEPTIONS
1. Pokemon Pinball 2. Pokemon Snap 3. Pokemon TCG 4. Pokemon Puzzle League
>Family trip to Wonderland >Hey look they're having Pokemon Stadium demos at the YTV truck! >Battle against older brother >I pick Persian because it's pretty >Persian used Slash! >Critical hit! Critical hit! Critical hit! >Destroy bro's team of super tough manly pokemon with one Persian >BEST DAY EVER
>>6888 Yeah, stuff with high speed was kind of crazy back then when the stat effected how often you got Critical Hits.
>>6894 I think it was more Pokemon had individual critical hit rates. Krabby's was the highest, I think.
>>6894 >>6937 Is that it? The story I had always heard back in the day was that Slash was improperly coded so that it always hit criticals no matter what.
>>6802 Oh fuck yes Snap is the best ever
>>6937 Nah, speed affected Critical Hits. Electrode was insane.
...I'd wager Persian made it onto the OU tier of R/B just because he's a critical hit machine.
I'm loving pokemon rumble for Wii.
>>6957 It was also because it got STAB on Slash and Hyper Beam.
Puzzle League. No question.
>>6937 >>6947 I'm super-slowpoking on this, but there were critical rates for each species of Pokemon (which only changed with evolution), it's just that they were based entirely on that species base speed. So even if you EV-trained your Slowpoke's speed enormously, it's critical hit rate was still the lowest.
Trozei is fun for being Bejeweled: Pokemon version. But the boss battles are bullshit.
Snap, no doubt.
