On a whim, I felt like drawing and cataloging many of the characters in the extended /coc/ universe as if they were a universe. I am under the understanding that this is a rather insane and possibly useless endeavor. Nevertheless, I under seemingly sound mind and body have started and will continue to draw more until either I am bored or sufficiently discouraged. (The former, being more likely.) And hell, maybe there'll be a story worth telling in this lunacy. Just noting, I started with my personal favorite.

I personaly find it hard to do smooth blending with full 100% hardness brush without it looking so flat. Keep it up fighting the good fight anyway.
/co/ hasn't made an original character to represent the White Lantern Corp (too much effort), so making one up by myself wouldn't suit a collection of /co/ characters. Instead I nominate the Headmaster of Gunnerkrigg Court as leader of the White Lanterns. ...When he feels like leading it, that is.

The only trouble is that you can be working too low and you loose any proper notion that you're actually leaving any marks. A work can become overly labored just by the added amount of time it takes to work like that. It flattens the image. If that makes sense.
I'm not sure if the cleaner lines and finer detail than your usual sketches are the result of anything beyond reducing the size of the finished image, but either way I really like the results. >>12074 P.S. Gavin's right thumb appears to be missing.
