Gonna post it
>>34174 I like it. Though one part that kinda feels off is Lucy's eyes. Makes her look kinda sleepy, and somehow I don't feel that eye-shadow suits her. Now I really do hope you do that short comic with them spending the night. Does Lucy or Felix have any other lady friends? Heh...
>>34179 A few more observations upon further examination: Felix's right arm seems to have mysteriously vanished. Lucy's left arm bends awkwardly at the elbow, and her hand not only looks too big, but it seems to be groping at something that isn't there. It would make more sense if her left hand was either groping herself, or placed on Felix's shoulder to steady herself. Lucy also seems to be devoid of pubic hair, but I suppose that is more of a stylistic choice. Overall, I like how you do erotic art. You have your own cartoony style and you make it work, you own it. I also like the use of colors. Can't wait to see more.
>>34180 Hey, thanks. I think a lot of the posing issues came about because of me using a photograph in which the woman was steadying herself on the headboard of the bed and I decided to omit said headboard from my drawing. I think if I did this again I've have Lucy's hand on the back of Felix's head...
And one more smoosh pic.
>>34224 Nice. I kinda like Lucy with freckles, but that's much of a critique.
>>34225 Sorry, I meant that's not much of a critique. If I had to give some kinda genuine critique, it would be that this could use a little shading. Then again, hat might take away the cartoony look.
>>34224 Why?
>>34229 Already drew the rough sketch and wanted to clean something up. There a problem with that?
>>34228 The lack of shading is mostly just laziness on my part. I figured that since this is technically the only place I can really show those drawings off I'm forgo the shading for now...
>>34224 >>34174 By the way: Which hair colour looks better? The reddish orange or yellowish orange?
>>34284 Yellowish orange. Maybe the redish orange would work if it was a little brighter.
>>34286 And on that note: Very slight colour changes
>>34288 Nice. I like that you made it hi-res.
Another Lucy drawing (I swear I draw other things, the drawings of her are just the ones that turn out best) Gonna shade and background this one soon.
>>34332 Ugh, I'm out of practice, the shading on the hair looks like butts
>>34337 The shading was junk to such a degree that I redid it...
>>34339 Going for an older looking Lucy?
Drawing up some neato backgrounds, should be done in a few days....
>>34544 What are they backgrounds for?
>>34551 I'm thinking about doing a series of episodic MSPaint Forum Adventures with Felix and Lucy on the MSPA forums. I figure it'll be a relatively easy thing to ease myself back into comic making. Here's the rough sketch I have for Felix's room
>>34557 And what I have done so far...
Making a little progress
>>34590 And a lil' more...Those photos and the map aren't too distracting, are they?
>>34594 Okay, think I have a workable version of this for now: (Gonna go back and redo the shading for outer space and other unique lighting types.)
>>34604 ...You've come a looong way. Nice.
>>34604 I like it. It's a little bit Neverhood, a little bit Monkey Island.
Hated my art, spent past few weeks on crusade to improve self. Been studying books and copying things from anatomy texts/other artists. Now I'm worried I'm not progressing at a good enough pace. How do these look, am I making any improvement on my shit or do I need to try harder. Be entirely honest, I'm not fishing for compliments or anything.
>>35180
>>35180 Your anatomy has certainly improved (I'm not really an expert on the subject though, so don't expect more detail than that). But I liked the way you did faces before better. I particularly don't like the eyes. It feels too.... 90's. Something about them feels almost stiff. Even the bodies are a little stiff. Not offensively stiff. Just don't be afraid to make them a little more noodley now and then. I always felt the noodley look is what made your characters distinct. Now make with the smut!
>>35181>>35180 Oh, wow. I can't put my finger on it, but it looks sooo much better. Keep on going though! The quest for self-improvement never ends!
>>35496 Yay!
>>35506 Nice reaction faces.
>>35506 I don't like the middle left one, the jawdropping one. It's kinda too much compared to the others. Bottom right is kinda meh. LOVE the rest!
>>35181 Coloured
>>35530 I like it. Though I miss the freckles a little.
Scanning a bunch of sketches when I get home...
Time for sketches
Some of the poses/expressions in these were taken from other images, try to guess which ones!
Hint: The ones that look better
Villain-Pants McEvildood. These are almost all taken from Disney villains
Little idea I did: Lucy and Flix with swapped personalities
I love the fluidity of these drawings. Some of these sketches look like animation stills.
And finally: Lucy about to bean a guy with her wrench
>>35896 Probably because I was copying some of the poses/expressions off animation stills... I cheated :(
Copying from sight or tracing?
>>35899 The first one; copying from sight Tracing doesn't really help as much and I couldn't really make it Lucy if I traced.
By going with sight rather than tracing you managed to preserve your own sense of style. I believe you have improved.
Could have sworn I posted this one already
