Has anyone tried out the Scott Pilgrim game? It is actually pretty good, it is a River City Ransom clone with co-op and music by Anamanaguchi.
This game is awesome but SHIT is it buggy.
>>91226 didn't run into any bugs until AFTER I finished the game once, damnedest thing.
>>91228 I've had it randomly freeze, muted sounds/music, and once, I beat Lucas Lee with a low attack and then all he did was stand up and then nothing. Had to play the whole level all over again but at least I was able to exit out of it and keep all my XP and money. This was on the 360 version mind you. Also, sorta unrelated, but did anyone else download the trail to Shank on 360? Cuz THAT'S been bugging out on me too. Got me worried about my 360 for a bit but my other games seem to be working fine....
Been playing thorugh the demo three times, I deffinitly have to buy this later. Also, I love how they made the subspace highway a glitch zone.
ok is there ANY way to break enemy combos in this game?
>>91393 playing co-op is about it.
>>91393 Don't get hit, use the block button. Plus most enemy combos (bosses/sub-bosses discounted) don't go more than 4 hits. Even if you didn't buff your defense, it's still hardly a big thing, since you get the jump on the enemy more often than not. (PS, try to break enemy combos in most beat em ups, you're eating at least 2 punches) >>91231 You will be happy to know that these problems are in the PS3 version as well. :P
>>91423 hooray -_-
>>91455 I'm not sure what causes it, though, because sometimes it works for hours with no problems, other times it crashes constantly.
>>91461 It all made sense when I watched the credits and saw "Made in Flash!"
did anyone else catch the marvel vs capcom reference? i thought that one was pretty clever
>>91493 ... Nnnno I think I missed it.
>>91501 in world 6 there's a bunch of wolverines that use a strikingly familiar dash attack http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/scottpilgrimvstheworld/video/6273433
>>91506 OH YEAH! I did notice, I had just forgotten.
>>91506 I actually laughed out loud when I first saw those wolverines attack. I really want to see these guys make another game.
>>91506 Goddamn those things are tough.
oh man scott's ending is probably the thing that has made me laugh the hardest in the entire franchise
>>91563 I totally agree. I was exceptionally confused because of the "get the girl" trophy. "Well, I sure did..."
My boyfriend and I tried it yesterday, I may have to buy this.
PC version PLZ.
>>91648 A Ubisoft port to a PC of an already incredibly glitchy game? Do you hate yourself?
Oh yeah this game rocks.
Had a blast with the demo. It's amazing with friends, despite being chaos incarnate at 4 players. Wanted to buy it for a while but the fucking PSN won't add funds to my wallet!!
>>91838 Its the bank's falut, some new sytem, that why have yet to buy it as well...
I've not sufferred any jam's or whatever and I've completed it fully with Stiles and Scott, just started with Kim. Maybe I'm just lucky. Wish I had 3 people to play this with locally, kinda sucks living in such a remote place.
>>91850 Wait what? My local bank or Sony's mega bank? This sucks, they just released Castle Crashers and Shank, the demos were awesome (though 15$ is a bit much) >>91852 Hey anonymous, make some friends!!
>>91861 Some sort of new "e-card" thing. Do you have Visa or live in EU?
>>91878 I have a Visa, and I'm not really European. Middle East
>>91882 Check your banks website. And login if you can... You may need to download something to your browser.
ZOOOOOMBIE ZOOOOOOOOMBIE ZOOOOOOOOOOMBIE MOOOOODE! Whew that's fun with a fully leveled up character, bodies flying everywhere, bouncing on head after head after head. Damn, I was 2 away from 200 when I went down.
>there is another secret character and details on how to unlock him/her will not be revealed until the dvd comes out o:
>>91974 Try the konami code and see what happens.
>>91977 NOTHING NOTHING HAPPENS The main problem has been I don't know which buttons count as A and B on a dualshock. I have tried every permutation I could think of and pfft nothing.
>>92010 X is A and O is B, because they had the blood code from MK. A,B,A,C,A,B,B which was X,O,X,Square,X,O,O
>>92011 I just realise I don't know the blood code on SNES, so square is probably X or Y. lolderp.
I had a lot of fun playing this with my friends. Even without online functionality I don't regret buying it.
So uh, PSN finally managed to block non American credit cards from being used and I don't really want to turn down to those overpriced clumsy PSN cards. Anybody wants to trade games? I've got Fat Princess, Pixeljunk's Shooter, Rag Doll Kung-fu, Age of Booty, Critter Crunch, annd that's it I think. I can also buy you 10$ worth of stuff instead on Steam, whatever works
just got it Can't tell who I like playing more, Kim or Stills
>>92777 Kim is kind of a game breaker. Especially once you get her techs.
>>92794 I don't honestly think she is, since her assist sucks (unless you have Mr Chau unlocked), and most of her attacks are on par with Stills for damage. She just doesn't have the disadvantage of moving slow as a rock, or not having a slide tackle. Kim, Scott and Nega Scott are my favorites, though.
Got the demo last night for Xbawks, took me a while to get the movement down(everyone feels kinda clunky to me), but when I did I fell in love. Played through the first stage about ten times now. I gotta buy this soon.
>>92803 Assists are almost pointless, use that Guts as extra health instead.
>>92806 I dunno, I think Ramona's assist is pretty damn useful, ESPECIALLY when fighting the zombie horde.
>>92806 I played through the game on the highest difficulty my first play through, you don't need to tell me that, I know. Stills' assist is incredibly useful, everyone else's is pretty weak unless you get Mr Chau often. But mostly because Stills' animations are PAINFULLY SLOW. >>92807 Unless you're in the zombie mode, just chuck them in the hole, blech. Zombies take too long to kill, easier to just throw them away and deal with not getting the money.
>>92808 Zombie Mode is what I meant.
>>92819 Yeah fuck dat. Haha.
>>92757 I'm glad I revived the conversation, but my offer still stands. Or maybe you could direct me to a place who sells those PSN cards at a fair price (buck for a buck) and ships worldwide. Anyways, I'm reading the comics, which I love. The movie is coming out here in two weeks (yeah, I know) and proudly bears the name "My Girlfriend's Exes" (Yes... I KNOW). Anyways I'm hyped for the whole experience.
>>92855 Wow that's odd, where is 'here' for you?
>>92879 Israel, it's a funky place like that. I read this article about the name and it starting to make sense to me, they're trying to pull audience who wouldn't go to see it otherwise.
Got the full game a few days ago, and Admiral and I have spent the past few nights playing with a friend of mine. Dear god it is so pleasing. I don't think we've had that much fun with a multiplayer game since we used to play Smash Bros. Melee back in middle school.
