Awesome? I don't know if I would go that far, but I do really like the way the movie costumes look in cosplay -- probably because they're actually intended for real life. While I love so much ATLA cosplay, the simplicity and solid colors that make it work in a cartoon haven't always translated well into cosplay for my eyes. I think that's why I like Mai cosplay so much (because the subdued colors make it feel more "realistic"), and cosplay like >>68541 and >>73323 and >>73324 (the fabrics give a more genuine feeling than your everyday XX yards of solid colored fabric from your local craft store). Not that the fabrics on these Water Tribe outfits fit that, but the little details on the edges make it interesting.So I was just gonna use this to ask around if people have seen some cosplay that feels "inspired by" the show costumes without strictly following it.(inb4 raeg and 'luk dey r white')
