plus4Chan's general rules are to followed:
- Use common sense when posting.
- Don't be a dick.
- Don't troll constantly
- Don't spam dumb nonsense.
- Don't evade a ban or it's an automatic permaban.

Additionally, try to keep non-related discussions, non-related images (e.g. reaction images, memes, etc), stupid arguments (especially over artists...), & "bump" posts to a bare minimum. THIS IS AN IMAGE BOARD; WE WANT PICTURES. Non-contributing posts will be periodically deleted & threads with large amounts of such will either be locked or just out right deleted. Frequent non-contributors will subsequently be banned as well.

Now, on to the board specific rules. All of these trump a general topic thread's atmosphere.

1) This is a "WESTERN ORIENTED ONLY" cartoon porn board. Content are to pertain to media of Western origin. This generally means images depicting, stories about, linking to, and/or requests for characters & series (official/fandom and/or original) originating from Japan (& other East Asian countries if yah want to get technical) is not allowed, period. Content of western originated characters & series (official/fandom and/or original) BY Japanese/East Asian artists is allowed; vice-versa is not allowed.

-) Japanese/East Asian characters & series with multiple western interpretations (e.g. Sonic the Hedgehog, Mario, etc) is allowed, but ONLY of characters/settings/styles that appeared in said western versions. Japanese/East Asian characters & series with a large Western following but little to no Western interpretations (e.g. Pokemon, Digimon, etc) is NOT allowed.

2) Further more, this is a STRAIGHT (& lesbian) ONLY cartoon porn board. Images depicting, stories about, linking to, and/or requests for male only, gay male, traps/crossdressing, futanari-on-male, & anything related therein will be immediately deleted & the offending party banned. Go to /coq/ for such material (if it's allowed there).

-) Regarding /d/ related material: To make most parties happy, it's better to keep such material in their own specific threads...until further notice.

3) Images depicting, stories about, linking to, and/or requests for bestiality, guro, scat, or stuff generally seen to be "extreme" in nature are not to be uploaded. And yes, this includes ANIMAL SEX. It doesn't matter if they're "overtly sentient" in some way (e.g. Scooby Doo, MLP, Brian from Family Guy, etc), if they're not anthropomorphic in appearance, then they're animals.

4) "Single Request" threads are not allowed. A thread started for a particular character, series, or artist with only a single pic posted & requesting for more, but with no more related images being immediately posted will eventually be deleted & the poster possibly banned. Have up to at least ten or more pics when starting such a thread so it may grow into a "general" thread. If you're looking for more of a particular character, series, or artist, post it in the Content Request thread.

5) Requesting and/or posting passwords to pay sites is strictly forbidden. Any such posts will be immediately deleted & the poster banned.

And, as with most rules, there could be exceptions. Anything not already listed will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Posting Palcomix-related art & comics is still very much allowed & encouraged, but only when adhering to the general & board specific rules (especially #1).
