Can she grow body parts inside of people? Because I'd be surprised if she hasn't figured out how to make arms inside people's chests to clench their hearts or lungs. She is an assassin after all.

Sometimes I do wish that she'd use her powers in creepier ways; they have the potential to be downright Lovecraftian. Still, forming wings and giant arms out of thousands of limbs growing out of each other is pretty goddamn horrifying when you think about it.

No, I'm pretty sure that's just a myth and it has to be a "surface", thus the inside of your body isn't reachable. Possibly it has to be somewhere a given body part could fit.
Robin only needs to 'see' where she's growing things out of because she needs to know where she's growing things out of. If her ability really depended on sight, it would almost never work: SHE CLOSES HER EYES TO DO IT.
She said she needed to "see it". The "it" was the South Bird they were trying to catch. She needed to see where the South Bird was in order to grab it. How is it that the fandom has managed to misinterpret that line so badly?
WELL OBVIOUSLY SHE NEEDS TO KNOW WHERE HER LIMBS ARE GOING TO FUCKING SPROUT. She's like Nightcrawler. Can he do a blind teleport? Yes! Should he? No! THAT WOULD BE DUMB. She has to make sure there's a surface to sprout on! Or that she won't sprout an arm where there are knives or something!
