This is my number one "watch when I am sick" movie.

I dunno, I have trouble picking a favorite, but that's seems to be a decent fallback, so I'll stick with it.

Mine changes all the time, but if we're talking, as Dent put it, "sick" movie AKA something we can watch over and over and it never gets old and it always amazes/amuses you?

this is going to sound weird, but it's a toss up between Inception and Some Like It Hot. Or Brick. Love Brick.

But only the UK version.

The movie I've watched the most times to completion is probably The Fifth Element.

Hot Fuzz for action, Jaws for campy horror, Singin' in the Rain & My Fair Lady tied for musical.

When I had to grade papers, one of these four would be put into my DVD player and set on continuous play. I know them all by heart, and I do not regret a damn thing.

Say what you will but this movie has still be for me hands down one of the tightest films I've seen in recent years. The final cut of the film left me utterly breathless for periods at a time until I could finally get a grip again. It was an emotional ride. It rocked. Hard to watch. After a slow start I really got caught up and couldn't let go.

I have many favorites, but I guess my absolute top is either Ghostbusters or Seven Samurai.

This is a hard question because I don't watch a lot of movies, mostly just whatevers on TV I get distracted from or on the rare event I see something in a theater, the only thing I really seek out and enjoy solo is documentaries

And even with that disclaimer Incident at Loch Ness remains one of my favorite movies because it's fucking hilarious and has Herzog in it

I'm really just attracted to movies about grubby people doing strange things in the desert. I can't pick favorites because I think 'movies' and I think about stories and how they play off the landscape but in the end my critique is based entirely on how much I enjoyed it and the least amount of external distraction. Watching movies is like sleeping for me, I just zone out and absorb and replay what I like in my head later.

I don't really have a MOTYAY movie, but some of my favourites (i.e. I've watched them more than twice):

It's hard for me to choose, but off the top of my head it's probably this one. Maybe if I thought about it longer I'd come up with a different answer (Blues Brothers perhaps), but Nightmare is almost certainly the movie I've seen more times than any other, and damn it IT'S GREAT EVERY TIME.

Large amounts of scenes were cut in the US version, and the ending is different. (In fact, the US version ending happens about 3/4ths into the UK version.) Some scenes are in other places, and some are altered, like the Sorter shoot out scene.

In my opinion it makes a lot more sense than the US version.

I actually snuck into Speed Racer with some friends after we saw Iron Man. The theater was completely empty, so we could scream and cheer as much as we wanted during the final Grand Prix race. When we got out of it, we were all so blown away we came back the next weekend and paid money to see it again.

Anyone who claims to like the Speed Racer movie but hasn't seen Redline yet is just not doing it right.

I don't know if I would say it's the best ever, but Drive is fucking amazing.

The one and only zombie movie I can stand to watch. Every time I see it I spot some new little detail or bit of foreshadowing and I love it.

A friend and I went to watch Drive. He got bored and left literally about three minutes before it started getting violent. I'm glad I stayed, I really enjoyed it.

I also don't like the Speed Racer movie, but that's because it honestly hurts my eyes, and I can't help that. Also the cartoon is only ironically entertaining, it's not even particularly good for its period. It's amusing though, and I'm sure there's value to the movie, but I just can't stand all the bright lights and flashes and stuff, for the same reasons I can't stand movies in 3D. Not because I think it's a bad movie.

But my favorite movies are probably... Ghostbusters, The Thing, Alien, Back to the Future and Forrest Gump. Yeah, that seems pretty acceptable.

I dunno if I'd call it my favorite, but I don't really like choosing favorites, and this is one I could watch over and over, so...yeah, I guess I'll post this one.
