Homestuck Expert is a great example of why people who legitimately love this character don't want to be identified as a fan. She's not the worst fan out there, but she is a loud, obnoxious ass and I hate that whenever a Kanaya update happens I've got to brace for the inordinate amount of posturing, fetishizing and general stupidity that flows forth from the fandom.
