God a BIG part of me knows i'm only going to watch this show for the transformation scene every week

Finished Shinkenger last night. Highly recommend you guys check it out if you haven't, The mecha fights are generally pretty great (they get weaker towards the end because Shinken-oh gets HUGE) and the suit fight choreography is also fantastic. Every fight with Juuzou is super fun to watch. The story does have some pacing issues but thats just the nature of sentai.

The team members may not all be awesome like in gokaiger but Takeru, Genta and especially Ryunosuke where always a pleasure to watch and I have already been looking into buying figuarts of them.

Give the show a watch if you have the time.

Oh man, the Gokaiger movie was so damn weird in places, but that climatic battle. That just more than made up for the odd parts.

Second, Just finished Dairanger and for the most part I really enjoyed it. All the Rangers are likeable characters who are given a fair share of episodes and plot lines to themselves to grow and develop, even Kou who originally grated on me was fun to watch by the end. The villains are also pretty great from the super wacky 90s goons of the week, to the high Ranking memebers of the Gorma tribe. The writers did a good job of making the villains and Rangers interact and have real grudges against each other, which made the fights a lot more engaging.

The mecha fights are also pretty great, Dragon Star lord has some decent mobility which makes the fights more interesting to watch.

The last ten episodes are also a super crazy ride, with death, plot twists and some decent resolution. that is until the last 6 minutes of the show when they decide to go FULL RETARD and things just get plain silly

I think Gobuster is starting to lose me, and this episode really helped me put my finger on why. It tries so hard to come off as a serious series, the comedic elements like the Banana missiles end up as just jarring. Well, that and the fact that Yellow seems to have her bitch switch stuck in the "on" position. But mostly the humorous elements not meshing well with the serious parts. Also Enter's gratuitous french is the most annoying thing ever oh my god. I'm not going to say I hate the series, because I don't. There's a lot of parts I like, but if they don't find a way to balance things better I might just jump ship.

I've actually been really enjoying Fourze, the series has really hit it's stride, and with the world building complete they've begun to start going for much more heavy character focus, doing things like bringing back former zodiarts to see how they're dealing with the aftermath, or just showing how the members of the KRC are growing. Gavan was fucking sweet. Ghost ship was more like an episode with a higher than usual budget, right down to the length. It had some moments that were right up there with the series' weirder episodes, but it made up for it with some downright stellar fight scenes.

It had pretty cool moments like the battle against the gestalt of foot soldiers, the baseball game against Baseball Mask and Marvelous vs Los Dark, but everything else was meh. And the lack of Gai was terrible.

Just watched the first episode of Dekaranger, have some thoughts and what not.

*The use of miniatures is really well done in the opening episode.
The chase scene and hostage situation where both really well done!

Agito is a bit more of a slow starter than W, and if you like Another Agito that much, you should be warned that he doesn't show up for quite some time. The thing to remember about W, and any Rider show really, is that it takes about four episodes to really get it's feet and start running. Even Akikko gets tolerable after a little bit. If you're going for OOO. I reccomend avoiding any of the ones with Batta legs. While the entire OOO line has some serious qc issues with paint, the Batta legs just all have shitty ankle articulation. The Cures are nice, but be warned, their limbs are thin and joints even thinner. Black RX is just straight up solid and nice as anything. Kuuga? Kuuga is crack in plastic form. I'm warning you now, it's almost impossible to stop at owning just one form. They're all beautifully painted, pretty much completely without articulation flaws, and for some reason, you feel compelled to own all of them.

Yo, Agito is real good but MAN if W's sfx bothered you then hold on to your butt. I guess that's the only thing you have to keep in mind for Rider shows, the cgi budget is like some shoestring and a piece of lint someone found laying around. But it's not like they detract from the show that much or like they're gonna get better the further back you go.

Watch Kuuga too if you're watching Agito anyway is all I have to add.
