So, I haven't seen any talk of this, and since the other Mass Effect thread has hit autosage, I thought it was as good a time as any.
There's a crossover promotion with Kingdoms of Amalur and Mass Effect 3.

If you download each of the demos and play through them, you end up getting free DLC armor and weaponry for the other's game. Pesonally, I think this is a pretty good way to handle promotional DLC. It's free and possibly drums up interest for another game. The items, for those that want to look them up are the Chakrum Launcher and Reckoner Knight Armor.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (seriously, who the fuck chooses this as a title for a game that's not, like, the 7th in the series?! And even then, Kingdoms of Amalur 7 would still be better.) will be self-published on Steam, so I'm guessing there will be no retarded EA DRM going on. We'll have to wait and see, though.

I went in with low to middling expectations, but I was not impressed with the Amalur demo. The combat system was a bit slow, but not horrible and it had some clever writing bits in it. However, the pacing and traversal were terrible and even though we got that intro video, the world seems very bland and poorly thought out. I was not immersed, which is generally not a problem for me in these kinds of games. It was like Oblivion and Fable mixed together, but too neutral to be a good blend of either one. Another gun in ME3 will be nice though.

His ass isn't fat enough and he doesn't ride the wambulance. His character is thoroughly self determined without Shepard needing to make everything better.

I think it's because he's activity centered. He keeps saying, "Let's go party" but you never get the cutscene of partying at the citadel.
>> No. 146055
>>145869

It's one of the problems with laser scan modeling a face. It picks up all her bumps and puffyness without defining skin color or makeup. It's compounded by any polygonal limits fthey might impose to fit system requirements.

Further they took an average persons head and put it on a ultra fit modeled body. It's alright in Freddis Prince jr's case because he is actually fit and a closer match to the character's build but Chobot is not even close. Chobot is average, for a woman, so it's seriously mismatched to the muscular athletic female body they put her head on. Seriously, it's the worst case of fat-head ever.

And Bioware's modellers can't be bothered to clean it up.

This. Most love interests in these games are emotional cripples. Their fans essentially love them for being non-threatening. Biodrones love the idea of having all the power in a relationship, especially if all they had to do for that power was utter one shitty pickup line at just the right moment.
