Ok, the moment that some of us were looking for, who is going to be the fortunate owner of the Backpack Expander?
I checked many times the last thread, and the brave ones that made it this far are:
- Chainerman
- BLINK
- Slowpoke
- Autonymoose
- Thomas Funky Edison
- Miley Cyrus
I'm a bit surprised that, considering the number of users, no more more players joined, shit's free after all. Oh well

There can be only one! So from those 6 players, the one who is going to take this considerably valuable and useful item, the one whose backpack is going to get expanded; THE WINNER IS

going to be announced in the next 10 posts

Offensive, Defensive, or Just For Fun; I'm looking for just about anything.

>Heavy
Football Helm, any minigun, Shotgun, GRU. Name yourself Special Needs Heavy. Use only the shotgun for attacking, the GRU for getting around. Any time anyone refers to you as a Heavy, insist you're a Scout.
>Engineer
Widowmaker, Pistol, Gunslinger. Minisentries for primary means of attacking, Widowmaker when you're close enough to gain metal while dealing damage. Pistol for attacking at mid-long range with your minisentry.

On my Engineer, I've got the Pomson 6000, Short Circuit, and Eureka Effect. The Pomson and Eureka promote a lot of hit-and-run gameplay; pecking at approaching opponents to lure them back in front of your sentry, or using the wrench to make quick escapes when the situation looks bad. I pretty much use the Short Circuit just because I'm bad at using the Pistol and I can never find an opportunity when the Wrangler is actually more helpful than the sentry's autotarget.

Ya, you're supposed to use Mantreds with the Rocket Jumper.

>>143733
Ment the Dead Ringer, but said Cloak and Dagger. It's been a long time since I've used a C&D, so I've got a question: Does the L'Trigger recharge the watches recharge time quicker? It might be a better choice as the Enforcer has a distinctive sound and is only ever paired with the C&D.
Also I envy you for somehow magically making the Fan O' War moderatly useful.

Thanks guys for the suggestions! If of you have any more, please let me know as I'd love to use them. I'm bored of the usual and am having a bit of difficulty picking through all the options.
Specifically pairing the Soda Popper up with the scout or any of the Soldiers alternative gear (like the banners and non Equalizer weapons).
I just can't seem to get the Banners to go off much due to lack of pocket Medics and none of the melees seem to outshine the Equalizer. Also the Rocket Launchers are all so similar in function and use. Except the mangler which is now pretty worthless.

That's the joke!
The Rocket Jumper deals no damage, the Gunboats don't do anything except take up a secondary slot, and the Pain Train makes you more vulnerable to bullets(although I guess it isn't totally useless, you can rocket-jump to points in no time).
But because you're a Soldier, low-HP classes still flip the fuck out and run away, you still get ubered by medics etc.
It's funny to me, especially when people notice they aren't taking damage from your rockets, and just sorta pause. But, again

I don't know, I think having mantreads on would make it funnier, just for the off chance that you actually kill someone with them. It would give them pause to think, "Wait, did someone just kill me by fucking falling on me? Do I suck THAT much?"
>> No. 143766
>>143762
I'm hoping they'll get around to making Strange Mantreads, which of course would record the number of kills by falling on people. If they make it, I will get hold of one, get a nametag for it, rename it 'Boot to the Head', and make an actual effort to level it up. Because a Hale's Own Mantreads would be the most hilarious thing ever.

For Soldier, I use Black Box, Buff Banner and Disciplinary Action. I stay behind a little, mostly trying to do damage to fill up the Buff Banner instead of getting kills. I whip people as the pass me, mostly heavys, to get them to the front line faster. And since you take little damage and heal yourself anyway, you don't need to bother the medics.
>> No. 143792
>>143771
I guess that's what I've got a problem with. As a Scout I tend to creep off and engage in isolated surprise attacks or 1 on 1 fights so getting into a group or head on situation seems counter-intuitive to the class.
On the other hand, if there was a Scout secondary or primary weapon that decreased weapon swap time I could see it being a little more handy.

>>143772
I'll have to try giving that a shot. I figured the Japanese one (forget the name) would be easier to fill as it increases with both damage dealt and received. Also the Cowmanger actually seems like it would be a good fit with its infinite ammo and thus spamability.

>>143762
Rocket Jumper, Mantreds, and an Equalizer to run away with.
If someone could pull that off I'd love to see it. The Soldier Shoes (and also the Market Gardener) are pretty worthless most of the time, but I would absolutely lose my shit to see a pro roll around with the rocket jumper and mantreds goomba stomping everyone on the map.

Thanks again for the suggestions guys!

-Direct Hit for massive damage
Solja 2: Original, Reserve Shooter, Disciplinary Action
-Spankings
Pyro: Degreaser, Flare Gun, Homewrecker

-Main the shotgun. MAIN THE SHOTGUN. Switch between Fists and Shotgun, take out tomislav when trapped.

-Bleeeeeeeeeeeeeed
Medic: Overdose, Quick Fix, Ubersaw/Bonecutter
-BATTLE MEDIC. I never play the primary medic, sorry.
Sniper: N/A
-I just keep switching Sniper stuff. I don't play it enough to have a preference. I just hit things with my kukri

Wait, does Madmilk do its thing for ticks on bleed?
If so that milk/ wrap assassin combos pretty damn clever.

For the Sniper, the best set up (in my opinion) is the Machina/ Bargain, SMG, and Shiv. Give that a try.
Use the Machina if you're not good with headshots as it's an easymode weapon, the SMG helps with moving around to sniping spots as you'll want to keep switching things up thanks to the killcam and trail, and the Shiv is one of the better Sniper Melee weapons. Also the bleed effect is obviously handy against spies.
If you use the Bargain you can usually get away with the Razorback instead of the SMG if you feel like camping.

Thanks again for more suggestions, it's always nice to see what other people are using with how many options there are in the game now.

One question: Does the mangler deal splash damage and can you rocket jump with it?
I've never bothered with using it, but I'm curious to know what secrets it holds since it's really the only soldier primary that's sufficiently different enough than the rest save maybe the Direct Hit.

>Also the Cowmanger actually seems like it would be a good fit with its infinite ammo and thus spamability.
Yes, but ammo isn't really that much of a problem if you sit back. The only other players looking for ammo that far back are snipers and enemy spies. So having a weapon requiring ammo can actually be a good thing too since picking it up can prevent spies from filling up their cloaks.

Oh, so here's an offer.
I've got $20 in my Steam wallet, but such an extensive backlog of games to play that I can't really justify buying anything else for myself right now(except maybe Half-Life 2 and Episode 1, cause Charles Barkley's a bro and gave me Episode 2).
So if anyone wants a game, I'll buy it for you and trade it for TF2 items, I guess!
Standard conversion rate is 80 cents per refined, and $1.80 per key, so if you want a $19.99 game, that's exactly 25 refined, or 11 keys and a couple scrap.

Also, Mesias, you still interested in Old World Blues?

I personally play a Piss Sniper build: Sydney Sleeper, Jarate, and Bushwacka. The objective isn't to get kills so much as it is to ensure maximum piss-spread. If someone gets up close, hit 'em with Jarate and go for the one-hit kill with the Bushwacka. Takes people by surprise.
>> No. 143896

It's pretty good at blocking rushes, I just wish the kill-feed wasn't so stingy with assists when you use the Sydney Sleeper.

With Jarate you get an assist for everyone you coat that dies, even if the mini-crits didn't matter like with a backstab. With the Sydney Sleeper you're coating them [i]and[/b] taking a big chunk off their health, but half the time you get nothing.

New update:
1. Holiday items got unique craft recipes.
2. New Soldier hat, The Lucky Shot (his regular helmet but with a tiny bomb
3. Bombinomicon doesn't shake the screen anymore and has a delay so Spies and Snipers will have an easier time telling they were what caused the death.
4. Fixed a Bazaar Bargain glitch where it would get heads for all shots made while crit-boosted, even misses.
5. Fixed the bug that made Strange Ullapool Cabers only count kills made with the melee weapon instead of the explosion.
>> No. 143934
Finally was able to use that 'non tradable' refined I accidentally crafted way back when that I bitched about with the help of a few friends.
I went ahead and collected myself two jags for the new recipes and whipped up a Eureka Effect for myself.

I LOVE this thing. There's nothing like setting up on a payload map and beaming back to your entrance to get more metal only to take your teleporter back to your nest.
I've even had the opportunity to use it to escape with. The 3 second time frame seems like an eternity when you're under fire, but you feel like an action star when you beam back in the nick of time.
Also this thing is great when compared with the Pomson. You can just chill out with your sentry taking pot shots and then get the hell out of there when you need to.

Speaking of the Pomson. Holy shit this gun is BANANAS. Grab one as soon as you can. You thought Widow-Slinger was fun, wait until you try this out. It combines the bullshit of infinite ammo non reflectable energy weapons with even MORE bullshit. This thing's crazy and it's so spammable I found myself netting kills with it like woah today even though I was playing like trash. This gun is amazing and I'd be shocked if they didn't nerf it somehow.
It's THAT good. Just hang back and start letting fly in a direction enemies are coming. On the downside you don't even feel like an Engineer anymore and I often just ran around with the Pomson helping repair occasionally, but acting more like a shock trooper than a support class.
This makes the Widowmaker only good for camper engis... which I honestly never thought of until today actually.
Also with the Pomson, don't let anyone in clo- on wait, your mini sentry. HAHA, eat it.

The new Pyro flamethrower I don't know how to feel about yet. I only used it once tonight and with mixed results. Lack of a flame particle effect is hard to get used to. Requires further experimentation.

On that subject, the Manmelter. I mean just what the fuck? When they made the Detonator, there was never a reason to ever use the Flair Gun again. Now that the Manmelter exists, the Detonator looks like archaic junk unless you get the rare occurrence a team is huddled together on payload.
I don't have it yet, but got to see in action and read up on it, so take this for what you will. It travels WAY faster than either the flair or detonator and has infinite ammo (spamspamspam). Not to mention you can use it to extinguish teammates (for free) and earn guaranteed crits with it. This thing seems like bullshit and I like and loath it. Energy weapons folks.

Spy-Cicle... you already knew this thing was amazing and 'OP', but honestly the giant icebergs are pretty handy when you're in a combat situation on the attacked team. You see the blocks of ice and you know a spy is running around even if you missed him where otherwise you may have just thought they died regularly. That said... still WAAAAAAAAY better than the knife 90% of the time.

Wrap Batter, I still don't know how to use this or the Sandman effectively, so I can't say much on that. Every time I look at those two I just think how much better off I'd be with an Atomizer or BatFishArm instead.

The Holiday Punch, which could be considered a throw away weapon... But it's not. As a Heavy using your melee is a last resort of last resorts so Valve has done the interesting thing on making two of Heavys Melees utilities to better get around; GRU for speed boost at the cost of life and the FOS for protection for super slow switch times. I enjoy that, but the Holiday Punch actually is pretty fun. Combine with the Family Business and Tomislav for good times. Nothing like dropping down on an enemy and punching them in the back, finishing them off with your shotty.
Also... lord help me. Bring Kritz'd while using these things is fucking hilarious if you're lucky enough to surprise people and tag a few of them with it so you or your team can clean them up.
I want to badly test it with the Buffalo Steak Sandvich.

And that's my 2 cents on the new stuff now that I've had a chance to use a lot of it.

Oh and slowpoke, I've got a key for you.

The Flare Gun has guaranteed crits (90 damage) on burning, the Detonator only got mini-crits (41 damage).

> infinite ammo (spamspamspam).
They're all so slow, it would take half a minute of continuous fire to use up all the ammo in either. It almost never happened.

>Not to mention you can use it to extinguish teammates (for free) and earn guaranteed crits with it.

Whether you can get more guaranteed crits with the Flare Gun or Manmelter depends on how many Pyros the other team has.

Ok, so with all this crafting we can do now, I was able to get a few of the new weapons.
All I'm missing now are:
- Wrap Assassin or Southern Hospitality
- Eureka or Jag
- Holiday Punch or Gloves of Running Urgently.

So I'm selling any weapon on the first 2 pages for a scrap each.

Unless you have one of the weapons I need. Then...I guess we can negotiate.

I'm also thinking of changing the paint on my spy. I love green because the Made Man doesn't look that great in green. I'm not sure if I should just change the Made Man or the whole thing. I'm not sure which color to use either.

All it really did was make W+M1 a viable tactic, which still doesn't make for an automatically good Pyro. I've had a Phlogistinator since day one, and I'm right back to using the Degreaser.
>> No. 144809
>>144795
>All it really did was make W+M1 a viable tactic
I don't understand why I keep seeing this pop up; the Phlog discourages W+M1 more than any other Flamethrower. It has no bonus other than the Mmmph, and you have to stay alive to build Mmmph, while W+M1ing gets your ass killed. It encourages you to light and run, letting your afterburn do its thing while you get outta Dodge and live to flame another day.

If anything, the Backburner with its extra damage makes W+M1 a valid tactic, ironic considering its intended purpose.
>> No. 144811
>>144809
Pretty much this.
The Backburner is the most scrub friendly flame thrower for that exact reason.
Most newbie pyros don't bother much with air blasting, so they just spawn with the flamethrower and run in. Valve really needs to adjust the flamethrowers, specifically the backburner, degreaser, and hell, the currently useless default one.
>> No. 144816

>> No. 144818

People have a pet peeve class they love to hate and those particular dudes HATE being ambushed by pryos, which is the whole damn stradegy of the class. It'd be like asking for the sniper's charge up time to be slower or for the heavy to have less health.
>> No. 144819
W+M1 is NEVER a "valid tactic" unless you are playing against idiots. The people who constantly whine about "W+M1 Pyros" are almost always new/bad/Spy mains.

>>144816
The default flamethrower is useless and the Degreaser is by far the best option if you actually want to get anywhere with the class.

The problem is not one of stats though. It's that the Pyro lacks a purpose; he's underspecialized yet weaker than the other generalist. Spychecking is not enough to base a whole class on.
>> No. 144821
>>144819
>The default flamethrower is useless
No, it's not. It's the best weapon for medic protection. It only costs 10 ammo for an airblast, and the after burn last 2 seconds longer, so your allies can chase cloaked spies and have a better chance of killing them while you stick with the medic.
>> No. 144840
>>144821
Both of those are incorrect. Its airblast costs 20 ammo and its afterburn lasts 10 seconds like that of every Pyro weapon.
The patch logs do not mention any of the improvements you listed.
>> No. 144853
>>144819

Pyro makes a good mobile push-disrupter. If you've got any savvy at all you can come up behind a push while they're engaging, burn and disorient everybody, and hunt down and kill the medic. Even if you die after that, you've successfully blunted their advance.

A Heavy can do the same thing, of course, but it's much, much harder to get a Heavy into the right position.
>> No. 144857

>If you've got any savvy at all you can come up behind a push while they're engaging
Spy was here.
Doing that job better since 2007
>> No. 144860
>>144853
If you were doing that as a Soldier or Demoman you'd have an easier time apporaching (explosive jumps), an easier time killing the Medic and either a chance to survive or to kill more enemies.

Other classes are just better at pretty much everything a Pyro can do, which is why I called him underspecialized.
>> No. 144862
>>144860
Yep.
As a result they gave him a few pester weapons (detonator, flairgun, manmelter) and an engi support weapon (homewrecker/ maul) in order to make him seem more relevant and useful.

Unfortunately however he's still not particularly useful at any one thing that other classes can't do better save guarding engi nests.

The Backburner may look like it encurages sneak around gameplay, but with the damage boost, it doesn't really. It's the ideal W+M1ers weapon because of that. These are the pyros that will charge you head on.
The degreaser is a straight up upgrade to the regular flamethrower in every way unless they brought the origional flamethrower specs back to where they where in 'vanilla'.
The new primary weapon actually encourages ambush play thanks to the meter.

In short, Valve really needs to go and reevaluate the Pyro to improve his standing because right now, he does nothing that other classes don't already do better... except sit around an Engineers nest and spin around with mouse button one pressed.
>> No. 144871
>>144840
Sorry, I was tired when I wrote that. I meant he has 10 airblasts, 20 ammo per shot. And I don't know how I got 2 extra seconds of damage out 2 extra damage per second. Anyway, you're mostly right, but I still get more kills with the regular Flame Thrower. Go figure...

The Enforcer nerf was really needed.
The Tomislav, if the nerf passes, is ruined forever.
The sandvich nerf seems kinda tolerable since it already fully heals the player, but it will be a goddamn failure if they do the same with the steak.

Not nerfing the steak would be POINTLESS because the instant medium health kit function is the issue, not the fact that the sandvich already heals you.

I need to remind you all that these are Beta changes, the point of which is seeing how this would do rather than just showing us what will be happening a week from now.

Personally, I kind of doubt this exact nerf will go through with the Tomislav, just like the 50 health penalty didn't.

And letting the Steak Sandvich keep the self-healing when the sandvich doesn't is stupid, that would make it better at healing than the damn Sandvich.
>> No. 145547
I've never really heard anybody complain about the drop healing of the sandvich. I guess the issue mainly comes up with the faster spin and stop of the Tomislav. Using another gun takes time, so you have to run away while you're waiting for the weapon switch and that may not be enough time if the enemies catch up with you.
>> No. 145550
>>145544
Okay then, what's the drawback of the instant medium health kit?
You don't really need the shotgun, especially not after the spin-up buff.
Why would the Heavy need an upgrade like this? How is it balanced?

Just because it doesn't break the game it doesn't mean it's not imbalanced.
>> No. 145551
>>145547
Exactly, the heavy faces a slower movement speed, slower attack speed and slower weapon switch. Throwing the sandvich to heal yourself quickly is still an odyssey for the heavy: You face a delay after finishing firing your minigun before changing of weapons, then the heavy's weapon switch which it's a bit slower, heal, another weapon switch delay, then wait for the spin time of your minigun.
You still will get killed around 1/3 of the time, 1/2 if you play with good players because they eventually will get you in the process, and the one that killed you most likely will end gaining full health by picking your sandvich (For those who haven't noticed yet, a Heavy only needs to have it selected to drop it on dead.)

>>145550

>> No. 145556

I don't play the class often because it bores me, but when I do I certainly notice the difference between now and pre-buffs. This doesn't prove anything either way, but whenever I play Heavy I end up doing well even when I couldn't do anything as Soldier or Demo (i.e. played like crap). I got out of situations I shouldn't have thanks to the faster spin-up and I survived longer than I should have thanks to the portable health kit.

>And that buff happened time ago
And it's still as dumb now as it was back then.

>and it was needed
Yeah, if you played the class wrong. You had to actually pay attention as a Heavy and pick your fights (when without Medic) instead of just walking into combat and getting kills unless there's a massive amount of explosives waiting for you.

Spoiler: Heavy is not supposed to be an all-purpose combat class. Stop complaining about his drawbacks and don't even imply that they made him unplayable. Also the Heavy has the same basic weapon switch speed as the other classes.

The Heavy is slow because he kills anything close to him in seconds. Eliminating/reducing his drawbacks (spin-up, being a big target without a Medic, slow movement speed) was NOT needed.

Also stop pulling the "you don't know what you're talking about because you're bad" card. I rarely have trouble fighting Heavies, especially in a one-on-one situation. I just don't like the fact that you can do well with the class without trying at all thanks to the buffs they gave it.

Why should a class take way more effort to take down than to play, even when played by mediocre players?

I don't...what does the Tomislav do?

Also the Enforcer change seems a bit too far in the other direction. Decloak nerf, fine, but the invisible enemy health seems lame. Unless it is only when active, not just equipped, then sure, why not.

Sandvich also seems unnecessary. I don't care what anyone says, heavies aren't as dangerous as people make them out to be unless you're terrible at the game. I'm inactive in the game for months at a time, and I still have no problem taking down a lone heavy. Just move and shoot at the same time.

Now days, being a lone heavy is more difficult to the point that you can't do your job properly unless you have a medic or a dispenser near. I wish the heavy changes don't make it to the game, the tomislav is a good alternative when you don't count with that support.

>Now days, being a lone heavy is more difficult

How exactly?

I've played a moderate amount as Heavy (about 14 of 300 hours played, yet it's still the one I have the best records with in kills, points, captures, dominations, and damage) and the biggest obstacles specific to the class I've faced are ones that have been around since the game came out: opportunist Scouts that are good at jumping and strafing, Soldiers or Demomen with the high ground, Snipers, and Spies.

The only unlockable items I would say tip the scales out of the Heavy's favor are the Direct Hit and Degreaser/Axtinguisher. The first one isn't used especially often and in spite of the second Heavy>Pyro is still the the hardest class counter in the whole game.

A Sniper that runs into a Heavy anywhere but long range is dead, and even at long range if the Heavy sees the Sniper he can fuck up his aim enough to take cover (the Heavy can't do this if he has other enemies to fight, but then he's either outnumbered or his teammates should be taking care of the sniper instead).

Against a Heavy, a Pyro is at a disadvantage at close range, an even bigger disadvantage at mid range, and though a flare gun Pyro is technically advantaged at long range it takes so long for it to do 300 damage that the Heavy could easily escape and get closer through some other route.

Even when the Pyro has the element of surprise and is using the Degreaser+Axtinguisher, just matching the time it takes a minigun Heavy to rev up and kill the Pyro (1.17 seconds) takes ridiculous precision (you have to use the flamethrower for almost exactly long enough that one Axtinguisher hit will finish him; igniting then two Axtinguisher swipes is always at least 1.28 seconds in case you're wondering).

Here's what I'm thinking so far:
-Soldier and Heavy are good classes to start with.
-You will die a lot. Don't worry about it as long as you can stop the other team.
-You'll get better the more you play, don't get discouraged.
-Sometimes, you just get a crappy team and the only thing you can do is change servers.

If she's going to play with you, have her be your pocket medic for assault classes.

Engineer is a good one to kind of sit in the back on D and watch how others play.

Heavy is good because you'll get a lot of support from others.

>>145620
The RPS system is extremely loose to the point that you really only need to look out for spies and snipers as a Heavy or Medic. Everything else is fairly even, though there are some notables:
-Scout's weak health and Pyro's lack of long-distance attacks makes them easy Heavy prey
-Demo's lack of direct attack makes it vulnerable to Scout and Pyro

But just about any of these issues can be overcome if you're good or made less troublesome if you have the right weapon set.

Payload maps, especially on defence are definitely the easiest to pick up for beginners. Playing Medic gives you a good idea of the map and game flow but I wouldn't recommend it on servers with smaller player-counts as bad medicing is much more detrimental to the team effort. Soldier, Pyro and Heavy arguably have the lowest skill threshold to be helpful, Engineer too with the right direction.

I main the flare (for...some reason) so when I run into heavies I tend to flame, airblast, flare, airblast, flare, and then finish with either the flamethrower or the melee. Tends to disorient them, and if nothing else the afterburn tends to get them if you die/run away.

By the way, guys, do some of you still happen to remember my suggestion of making a group for the second Saxxy Awards? Almost 1 year ago after the end of the first ones.

Memory fails me a bit, but there were a few interested, Mesias was one of them.

FULL MOON, BITCH

>>145987
Yeah, mostly when you least want it.
Anyway, I was thinking of... 5 members, maybe? Those with good editing skills and/or good resource provider depending on the project, and of course, /coc/. Looks like a good view to me, but they also need to be enthusiasts to focus on it enough; we should talk about how we are going to organize this by steam chat, tomorrow, perhaps? Let's give this a try while it's early.

A few community users from this site are looking to form a crazy team for the upcoming movie contest, interested people with enough abilities are required for this.
What is needed right now are editors, help with equipment and a space to make the takes; any decent, small server from home can help. The intended number of team members is 5, but it might vary more or less depending on those who join, and everyone will act in the movie.
The priorities: Server > Editor > Equipment

The goal here is simple: To win an Australium-plated trophy made of Australium that turns everything in Australium.
Do you think you can help with any of these things, or know another way to be helpful? Quote this post with your profile number or ID in the Email field (Name optional) and you will be contacted as soon as possible.

Yes, everyone in the team will get the Saxxy, the same happened with the last year's winning teams.

>> No. 146441

The Chemist is a class I saw mentioned in the TF2 forums waaaay back in the day that I was really fond of. It was basically entirely a support class with virtually no direct damage. Primary was a poison vial that exploded when thrown and caused poison/bleed to whoever was hit within a radius (minor damage from a direct hit), secondary was a smoke bomb, and melee was a chloroformed cloth that had less damage (like the bat) but could deflect projectiles when swung and caused slowdown on a crit.

I can do that, but I would need the cranium and something else to even it up a bit. The cranium goes for about 5,700 on the warehouse and the Dragonborn goes for about 10,200 or so which is where I would be getting it from.
>> No. 146598

I honestly wish Demoknight WAS its own Swordsman class or something.

Nothing is more irritating than getting killed by a Sentry and expecting one of the three Demomen on your team to handle it, only to find three idiots with the Chargin' Targe and booties.

Even then it wouldn't affect the Mannconomy that much. Max's Severed Head, or Lucky Number 42 would just go on to be the big staple gold standard.

They are, but they are so awesome; pic related, I'm finally wearing my Safe'n'Sound + buds combo again. Feels good, mon.
This is what I call the Geek set, not too fancy, but has style.

And about the Bill's hat, it's a promo, so there's no way of getting it besides trading with someone else.

>>146759
>>146771
Unfortunately, that will never happen, mainly because Valve, and it's true that it won't end this crazy ingame economy (That's "Mannconomy" for you).

About the spreadsheet, I have said this many times: It's not THAT accurate. What they do is see the current trades of other people and show a current estimate range of value, and many make the huge mistake of following it religiously exactly as it is when is supposed to be a guide, a "suggestion"; the owners (or owner) of the site even said this by themselves, people don't get it. It's a mirror, not a goddamn commandment.
