I can not believe Cartoon Network didn't nominate Optimus Prime for the Hall Of Game Awards last night. Everybody knows he got game.

I don't remember seeing Ratchet, either, which pisses me off. At least there's a Bulkhead, which makes me happy- at least I get one of my three favorites.

I really like what I've seen of Prime, by the way. My only previous TF experience was with a couple episodes of G1, the first two Michael Bay movies, and a couple out-of-context clips of Animated. Starscream is my favorite Decepticon, he amuses me. Also, he's Steve Blum.

Yeah, with regards Arcee, I'm glad to see that she's heavily reflected in the toyline. In fact, almost all types (FE, Powerizer, RiD) feature her as a staple in the initial release. Airachnid is less lucky, but this seems to be an issue with the copyright of her name, rather than the old saw of "She's a girl character, so there's no need to make a toy of her, cause that shit won't sell".

As for Ratchet, well... I dunno. I'm no expert, but I feel like he's meant to appeal to the older viewers, and not the younger "buy toys en mass" child viewer. Ratchet doesn't see much action or combat in the show (doesn't transform much either), often regulated to an exposition/disciplinary role. So while he's very charming to me personally, I could see why a marketer might say "a 8-12 year old boy wouldn't necessarily want a toy of this guy right away".

Well, Optimus is in the first 2 episodes a fair bit. The set-up is that Optimus is busy in Nevada with his core team from TFP, hence why he can't supervise Heatwave and co much.

Also, in Rescue Bots, the human family (Charlie, Dani, Graham, Kade, and Cody), know the Autobots are alive, but the rest of the island does not. The islanders think they're transformering mechs as it were, not living aliens.

Eh they probably had an idea to have it run along the same length as the season one opener but scaled it back at some point seeing how it didn't really carry well through all five parts. Kinda a letdown of how fast it happened I'd have like an episode of just Arcee and Jack traveling deep into Kaon maybe giving a bit more backstory to the how and why of the city.

At the very least the memory wipe could of had some weight to it if the writers had done something with Orion Pax. Like if Orion Pax discovered something to help the Autobots or found an ally among the Decepticons.

Nah Ally won't happen aside from them finding out that Starscream is a free operator. We got all we needed from Orion being on the Nemesis that Megatron has another project dealing with more hidden Cybertron Relics uncovered from the Iacon records. If Optimus still had the Orion memories from Nemesis then all they would have to do is pop over to those locations and secure the relics which would eliminate a whole lot of plot points.

Was anyone else a little bothered by the fact that Optimus and Orion are essentially two different people in the same body? It seems like the Matrix possess the wielder and only displays shades of the original perosnality.
