/baw/, why aren't you working out right now? Ladies, why aren't you doing your squats? When was the last time any of you went for a run? Your bodies are falling apart, you know. If real life were an RPG, guys like Brad Pitt would be the heroes, guys like me would be the NPCs, and you guys would be the giant rats that people grind on to gain exp in the beginning of the game. Step your shit up, man.

So what kind of plan, combining everything in this pic, would be the best, yet quickest way to go about it?

Also, soft or hard-boiled eggs?

My favorite aspect of modern work outs is the complete lack of grip training from most programs and then when people see you scale a wall or go up against a guy with bigger arms in arm wrestling and hear his bones pop and groan and it's like you are ~MAGICAL~ when really I just grip these at least 50 times every 3 hours, I've been doing it for 2 years, using the 360 for the last year.

Then I do the Farmer's Walk every morning and night to build my support grip and pinch grip 45 pound weight plates to build that.
>> No. 353352
I still feel the number one thing in weight training needs to be support muscles for the back.

They help save your disks and vertebrae so you don't walk around like snoopy when you reach 80.

So, I'm working up the courage to try and join a Yoga gym. They've got this 20 days for 20 dollars deal, so I'm able to afford that, and hopefully I'm able to actually make it through a class.

My first moth at the gym has been a huge success.
I've managed to reduce my stomach by 2 cm, and reduce a lot of fat.
My weight is till the same though, but I also feel with more energy than the usual.

That's not muscles, that's literally your bones deteriorating.

As you get older, your bones lose the ability to store as much calcium in them, so they lose structural integrity. The bone is deformed over time. If you look at a cross-sectional profile of the load-bearing portion of your vertebrae, a young person has a nearly square profile, but an eldery person has a distinct wedge shape.

An old person who looks like they can't stand up straight could be standing up as straight as their backs could possibly let them stand up, but still appear bent.

Gyms are not particularly a thing in China, and the only one I can find seems to be very unapproachable and meant for members of the lifting team at this university. So I've taken up running on the track. Though I haven't done it for a couple days ever since the inner part of my feet started aching something fierce. I don't know if this is normal or if I done goofed by running wrong or just from running while being like 230 lbs.

So how did the whole high protein thing work out, Moe?
>> No. 354460
>>354455
I love carbs too much to let them go. ;_;

But I've found that without a ton of protein, my muscles stay sore for a much longer time. Sadly, the first brand of whey protein I tried didn't mix well and the second (Isopure) made me nauseous (probably due to egg content). I end up getting most of my protein from either meat (which I hardly eat due to money restrictions) and musclemilk (which is bulking power, which generally means drinking it on non-workout days will eventually get me fat.)

I have a George Foreman babby grill now, so I can fix more burgers and grilled chicken than I used to, which is great. I'll look into more brands of protein when I have more money.

...oh.

I should stop drinking that casually, then.

I'm just trying to trim excess sugars, fats and carbs out of my diet. Upping my protein intake ties into that goal, but hitting the daily mark seems really complicated if I stay with 'natural' sources like meat, fish, eggs, etc. Fish especially are a problem. Very low in unhealthy fats and sodium, high in protein, but making them a daily food isn't under consideration as long as the constant health warnings keep scaring me. And you fucking know that disaster in the Gulf will continue to affect prices.

On that note, you have my sympathy. From what I hear, bulking is damned hard on the wallet.

>>354461
How could you not already know that. How.

My job is really building some muscle on me.

I didn't think it would be, cause it's not exactly hard work, but I'm getting noticeably stronger and bigger. Like "lifted a half-fridge for long enough to clean under" strong.
Which maybe isn't that strong, but I damn sure couldn't do that two months ago.

Speaking of strength and jobs, there's apparently a need for male nurses. The idea is nurses have to be able to lift patients from beds to trolleys and so on.

In one of the few cases where I will ever display gender bias, Paramedic vans with two women behind the wheel drive me NUTS.

I don't mind if they look like some huge gals, but Goddamn, what are you gonna do with a 300 hundred pound person when that's almost the combined weight of the two of you?

Same thing when I see toothpick thin guys though, like what are you doing being a paramedic?

As for male nurses it's the same deal, people are on average fat as shit now, so they need people who can handle them easier and blame whatever cultural standards you want that women don't exercise like men (damn shame too since athletic women are goddamn gorgeous), men are on average stronger.

And as I recall testosterone also promotes better muscle development, but that could be me talking out of my ass, I am neither a Paramedic or Nurse.

>And as I recall testosterone also promotes better muscle development, but that could be me talking out of my ass, I am neither a Paramedic or Nurse.
Testosterone is a steroid (and actually, a controlled substance because of that), so yeah, it promotes muscle growth. It's a big part of why a man with the same level of physical training as a woman is almost always going to be more muscular and stronger.

By not reading before consuming (multiple times).

When I first started, I just wanted some chocolate milk. Most r-t-d chocolate milk upsets my stomach; Muscle Milk didn't (the light version does). It's not real milk, but it tastes just as good.

It's cool, though. I haven't had some in a long while since it's friggin more than 2 bux a bottle.

Is there a worse feeling than the realization that right in the middle of a jog, you really have to drop a big runny dump? Probably. Certainly. But I'm not eager to experience it.

I had to go in the bushes at a university campus I was jogging around once with my dog. Not my finest moment, and my ass hurt from not being able to wipe for another 30 minutes, but I finished my workout.
>> No. 355747
>>355720
The only things worse than that are related to it, like having to take a dump while running and then feeling what might have been a squirt or might have been a turtlehead, and wondering for the next twenty minutes if you should stop at a bathroom and wipe.
>> No. 355748
>>355720

I would say yes. It's utterly demolished by the feeling of being on a bus driving through the middle of rural country and having that feeling. You have to sit there (can't stand up and pace while the bus is moving!) for 15 minutes until it reaches the next stop, only to find out that that stop is on the side of the road surrounded by nothing but grapevines; there is not a bush nor a tree nor a shack, not even a rock, to be found to squat behind, so if you're going to be shitting it'll be in full view of the cars zipping past every thirty seconds. Oh, and of course you have no toilet paper with you. This will force you to walk five miles over the next hour until you finally come to a gas station, only to struggle for five minutes with the can-barely-speak-English cashier as to the location of their bathroom; and while you're in there doing your business a cannot-speak-English-at-all lady will be pounding on the door asking to be let in the entire time.

And no, this TOTALLY never happened to me. It's just a hypothetical situation that happens to be very specific.
